Vote

YES to DART

in Plano

On May 2, 2026, Plano voters decide whether to continue Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) in Plano.

Ballot measure:

“Shall the DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) be continued in City of Plano?”

Our recommendation:

YES

  • YES = DART continues in Plano

  • Keeps existing DART services and the ability to improve them.

  • Maintains regional connectivity across North Texas.

What does “YES” mean?

Why Vote Yes?

Access

For many neighbors, DART is how they reach work, school, and appointments, safely and independently.

Fiscal Responsibility

Either way, we pay. Replacement transit costs money. Sales tax spent in Plano will continue to go towards DART-related debt obligations, regardless of the vote outcome.

Regional Connectivity

A connected system works better than fragmented service. DART helps Plano stay competitive for employers and talent.
